Looking for a way to stand out, make a difference, and show off your leadership skills? The BPA Torch Awards program lets you earn recognition for the things you’re already doing — leading, serving, learning, and growing.
What Are the Torch Awards?
The Torch Awards program helps BPA members develop and track their leadership journey across seven key areas: Leadership, Service, Cooperation, Knowledge, Friendship, Love, Hope & Faith, and Citizenship.
Every time you attend an event, volunteer, mentor, or lead a project, you can log it in your online BPA résumé. As you earn points, you can reach different award levels — from Executive to Diplomat, Statesman, and finally Ambassador, the national level of recognition.
Why Get Involved?
1. It Recognizes What You Already Do.
You’re already making an impact — volunteering, competing, helping your chapter, or supporting your school. The Torch Awards give you official recognition for it.
2. It Builds Your Resume and Confidence.
Each point you earn tells a story about your growth as a leader. Colleges and employers notice this kind of initiative, and you’ll have real examples to talk about in interviews or scholarship essays.
3. It Connects You to a Bigger Purpose.
The Torch Awards aren’t just about getting a pin — they’re about discovering how your actions create change in your community and within yourself.
