Diana Rudel

State President  |  Pine View School

Diana Rudel is honored to serve as your next State President of Florida Business Professionals of America. Diana has been a part of BPA for two years and is grateful for all of the opportunities and experiences it provided for her. She has previously served BPA as her local chapter’s founder and president and past State Historian.

Diana is thrilled to continue serving the Florida BPA community and membership. She aspires to bring the BPA family closer together by expanding membership and accessibility across the state, strengthening ties between all levels of BPA, and engaging and developing members’ leadership and communication skills.

Ryan Gross

Vice President  |  Crooms AOIT

My name is Ryan Gross, and I am the State Vice President of Florida BPA. I am a senior at Crooms Academy of Information Technology in Sanford, FL. I’ve been active in BPA for over three years. I joined BPA in 9th grade because I was looking for something that would help prepare me for the future. I never could have imagined how much BPA would live up to that statement.

My favorite thing about BPA is all the opportunities it has for students of every background. From WSAP competitions and certifications to BPA Cares and Torch Awards, there is a BPA program that any student can find an interest in, learn from, and benefit from. This year, my goals are: enhancing the communication structure of Florida BPA, expanding opportunities for BPA events during and outside of conferences, and working to ensure every member has the best possible experience as a member of our organization.

My plans for the future involve attending a university somewhere, as well as continuing along my path as a web developer.

Samantha Jayakody

Secretary  |  Seminole High School

I am Samantha Jayakody, you state secretary and a senior at Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida. When I joined BPA as a freshman, I did not expect to gain the experiences and skills I have today. I truly have gained skills that will last me a lifetime and as a state officer this year it is my goal to allow the same to happen for many more students all throughout Florida. I cannot wait to communicate with members all across the state and to make this year an unforgettable one!

Aryan Parulekar

Treasurer  |  Seminole High School

I am Aryan Parulekar, your State Treasurer and a Junior in the International Baccalaureate program at Seminole High School in Sanford, FL. My favorite thing about BPA is the opportunity to make connections and memories at all levels. Whether it is personal memories with your chapter members or professional connections through your judges or workshops, the possibilities are endless. This year my personal goal is to leave an impact on Florida BPA by starting and growing new chapters in, and near, my region, Seminole County, to grow membership. After high school, I want to attend the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, with a concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurship & Innovation, to one day become an investment banker.

Anjuli Verma

Historian  |  Coral Springs High School

: I am Anjuli Verma, the current State Historian and a senior at Coral Springs High. I joined BPA because a few of my peers had told me all about their wonderful experiences and encounters they had as a member. When I consulted my teachers about joining BPA, they had all encouraged me to join in order to develop skills that will help me in my future endeavors.

My favorite part of BPA is how welcoming the organization is. This community was willing and ready to help me with new territory ever since I joined. I want to spread that experience this year and invite others to enjoy what BPA, as an organization and community, has to offer and help them build for the future.

My plan for the future is go to college to become a literature teacher.

Nathaniel Pelton

Parliamentarian  |  Coral Springs High School

I am Nathaniel Pelton, your State Parliamentarian and a Senior at Coral Springs High School in Broward County, Florida! I first joined BPA my freshman year with a dream. A dream to succeed beyond all my wildest dreams in an incredible organization like BPA, all while making friends, learning leadership techniques, and traveling to vibrant places.

My favorite part of BPA is the ability for members to get out of their comfort zone and unify in making connections and building relationships. Nothing feels better than finding a new friend who truly gets you. If it weren’t for BPA, I wouldn’t have had the honor to meet so many of the friends I cherish today.

My plan for the future is to serve my people and my community by creating policy that benefits them. I hope to use my hard-working and passionate skills for governance to make the world a better place for all of us
